EMPLOYMENT POSSIBILITIES

Hunter Surf Life Saving Inc. is recruiting enthusiastic, motivated and energetic young persons from within the Surf Lifesaving movement to be employed as casual Instructors in our Community Education Programme. Good communication skills, a passion for the beach as well as a love of working with children & youth are essential.

Hunter Surf Lifesaving Inc. in partnership with ‘The Wests Group’ conducts activities throughout Terms 1 & 4 of the School year to educate students on beach awareness and surf survival as part of our Community Education Program.  These activities have been in operation for the past 10 years. 

To be successful you will possess a Surf Life Saving Australia Bronze Medallion (Currently proficient) along with Senior First Aid Certificate or ARCT.

Applicants will also need to be willing to complete a trainer’s course.

Successful applicants are required to undergo a ‘Working with Children’ background check,
