The min age for entry is 14yrs. Each team of 3 must contain a minimum 1 male or 1 female. A lot of swimming clubs and surf clubs have the event as a "target event" in their plans on this years competition calendar. It's a great event for team building for your older age groups in any club.
Being a community based volunteer organisation, the Club is recognised for the training of the youth in the area in surfing and life saving techniques from nippers (6+ years) and above.
The Across the Lake event will be held on Saturday 25th Februaury 2012.

What is a Special Event?
Is your Club holding a Special Event or are you acting as Water Safety for a Special Event?
The following information will help your Club complete the Special Event Application Form.
Surf Life Saving is now involved in many events and activities, many of them involve our core activity of water safety,

A “special event” is any event outside the parameters of normal club/branch activity that involves some aspect of surf
